Report for the week of August 18 - 24, 2014.
Niko Di Gangi of Voorhees, NJ., Jinx White of Lindenwold, NJ.,
Steven Prisk of Clifton, NJ., John O' Connel of Collegeville, PA.,
Joe Hauser of Phila, PA., Tony Depietro of Galloway, NJ., and
Frank Servocky of Drexel Hill, PA., all took Pools aboard the
SEA STAR III
this week. The first five won with Fluke, These fish weighed in at 5.05lb, 3.5lb, 5.55lb, 5.20lb, and 3.5lbs respectively. The last two with
a 2lb Kingfish, and a 2lb Bluefish.      CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The Ocean was good to the SEA STAR III this week, when the wind was not
blowing and we could fish there. One day during the week the wind affected
our catch at the reef, and the weekend was spent at  Cape May Point because
of a Stiff North East wind around 20kts both days. When conditions were good,
the fishing at the Reef was HOT! Great numbers of Fluke were caught, and
Keepers were about one in ten. Many Fluke weighed in at 5+ lbs! Not just the
Pool Winners! I can't wait for the wind to stop so we can get back out there again!
Some Sea Bass, Blues, and a few Triggerfish are also going into the buckets.
With just over a month of Fluke season left, I hope you all give it another shot.
The warm weather and diminishing crowds make September in Cape May nothing short of BEAUTIFUL! I want to Thank all of the youngsters that joined us during their summer break, and wish them luck in the coming school year!
As always, I will again leave you with more photos from this week's action.
Thanks for checking in.....
