BIG FISH MONDAY + DOORMAT #6 !!!!!!!!

The EB II early season streak of catching DOORMATS continued today with NUMBER 6 finding its way on to the deck and into an ice bath!! There were several big fish caught today and a bunch of other quality fish to go around! No limits but several guys had four keepers each. Wind against tide early this morning so we had to wait for a drift. Once we got a drift we slugged away all day and ended up with HAPPY fishermen for the holiday! Brad Weaver, Bound Brook, NJ, had four keepers including a 7 pound 11 ounce fish. Dave Brink, Port Monmouth, NJ, had several keepers up to his 8 pound 9 ounce fish. Frank Lavelle, Hoboken, NJ, had four keepers which included his 9 pound 7 ounce beauty. Tommy Hollywood, Jr., Staten Island, NY, stole the show today, however, when he boated a 10 POUND 8 OUNCE DOORMAT which is the second of his fluking career and our SIXTH DOORMAT of the young fluke season ALREADY!! This fish already tied the boat record for most 10+ pound fish in one season and we still have nearly three more months to go!!! GREAT JOB TOMMY and to all of our flukers who work hard every day and make us look good!! We go back to our regular 7:30 AM DAILY schedule starting tomorrow. See you in the morning.
