07/18/16 After a weekend of boats the bay looked more like a desert today. It was hot on the water but not too bad with a westerly breeze all day. Very good bite everywhere we fished today with loads of short action along with keepers. A couple areas had a better keeper ratio than others and we concentrated our efforts there. The guys and gals worked hard all day and put a catch of keepers together for dinner. Tom Yankow, Staten Island, NY, led the way with four keepers. Young Alexis Carbahal, Mt. Bethel, Pa., took the pool with a very nice 7 pound 1 ounce fish which was taken early this morning and was the FIRST FISH that she ever caught!! Nice Fish Alexis!! Back at it again tomorrow. See you in the morning.
