JULY 22, UPDATE

I can't believe it has been so long since I updated the fishing reports, probably because once the posts are up on Facebook, I forget to update here. So here are the highlights of the past 2 weeks. Starting with  Sun, 7/10 AM trip Pauline takes the pool with a 5.5 lb fluke, Nick, Pat Rascone's son had a 3.8 pool fish, Thursday morning saw improved keeper count with Artie having 2 keeper fluke and the pool winner at 6 lb. Last  Sun am trip had Kevin H. 1 shy of his limit with 4 fluke  maiking it home to the dinner table, with Lou and Bob 2 keepers each. On Mon am trip the pool went to Ed with a 4 pounder and Chris landed 2 nice keepers. Young Emme and Jake were out with dad, Harrison, on Thurs am trip and they landed the the first 2 keepers of the trip. Friday morning was less productive on the keepers but plenty of action on the shorts, some of them being an "almost". Friday pm trip saw a lack of angler participation, but for those who were aboard, it was good fishing, with everyone going home with fluke. I think the weather forecasters are making people afraid to go out on the water in the heat, well here is a "news flash", it has been quite cool and refreshing on the water the past 4 days.
