07/24/16 Once again the water was the place to be today! The sea breeze kicked in by late morning and kept everyone comfortable while we fished! Worked a similar area to yesterday and found similar results. Plenty of action from 17"-17.999" fish with nice keepers in the miix. Spro/gulps rigs accounted for most of the larger fish today. Anne Lavelle, Jersey City, NJ, got a bonus to go along with her fluke when she boated a legal striped bass. Tom Hollywood Jr., Staten Island, NY, just beat out Dennis O'Brien, South Bound Brook, NJ, for the pool with a fish around 5 pounds. Bring some extra fluids to stay hydrated tomorrow and lets go fishing! See you in the morning.
