1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

07/26/16 We had very nice drifting conditions today and we took advantage of it. Worked the tides in a couple of different areas and had lots of action once again with a better keeper ratio than the past couple of days. The nicer fish bit gulps/spros and natural baits equally well. It is that time of the season to bring a second heavier rod along that can handle up to 10 ounces should the need arise!!! Nothing worse than not being able to touch bottom with a noodle rod while guys all around you with the proper tackle are pounding on the flatties!! Dennis Ziober, Port Reading, NJ, tied for the pool with Rich Daniels, Phillipsburg, NJ. Weather looks great for the next few days so take advantage of it. See you in the morning.
