7/31/16: The halfway point is here! It's time to take the kids out, into the ocean and let them experience deep sea fishing! When they catch their first fish, no matter what kind it is, it's such a rush for them! They can release, or if it's a nice keeper, we will fillet it for you and package it, so you can take it home. The four-hour trip is nice, as not to take up the entire day.

The fishing has been the same that it's been for years! When we have a drift, it's better and sometimes great! When we have no drift the fishing is slow. But I have to admit, some of the best days are seeing that little boy or girl reeling up a short flounder or sea robin, and the crew and the parents go wild! That made the trip for that child! The cameras are going, the big acceptance speech, "I DID IT !" it's priceless. All the computers in the world can't do that! Please remember the Heritage of Fishing. Most likely the reason that most of us are here is because, our parents, or relative, loved fishing and came to this area for that reason. Thank you for your dedication. Sea you at sea!

Please note that on Thursday, August 4, the afternoon trip is privately chartered. The Miss Barnegat Light will be sailing 1:00 to 5:00 pm in our place, thank you again!
