The first qualifying white marlin was weighed today in the White Marlin Open. That 76.5-pounder weighed from Phil Heasley's Kalliakassa is potentially worth $2.4 million. There was also a breakthrough on tuna as a bigeye was boated on Mark Hutchinson's Magic Moment. That 233-pounder is far ahead of the field, and could be worth $400,000. Two wahoo broke through in that category, topped by a 79-pounder for Two Timing Connie. The dolphin lead changed, as Reel Toy weighed a 36-pounder. There were 249  boats out of the 329-boat field fishing Tuesday during the second straight perfect canyon day.
