AUGUST 30, 2016 UPDATE

Not much has changed over the past few days, with the shorts providing most of the action and a few keepers mixed in. On Saturday Derek was out with his 4 kids and they managed a keeper each with Meghan taking the pool with a 7 pound fluke.  Yesterday the fishing seemed better on the afternoon trip with Kyle taking home 3 keepers  including the 6 pound pool winner. young Garrett and Dylan each landed a keeper. Today the morning trip was slow, with the last drift saving the day and Billy getting a 4 pounder to take the pool. The afternoon saw  young Jake bringing in a 4 pounder, but Matt took the pool with a 6 pounder. So the catching is far from good, it appears there are some bigger fish in the mix again. Summer is almost over and the kids will be back in school, so why not get that last trip of the summer in, have some family fun and maybe bring home dinner.
