1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

08/28/16 Spent another beautiful day on the rough bottom with a nice group of EB II regulars. Had a small swell that was not present yesterday. Found some fish in most areas but it was not the fluking we had yesterday. Spoke with several friends who covered LOTS of miles today in their own boats only to find similar results everywhere they went as well. Everyone, however, was able to get their limits of seabass which were in a chewing mood. Bill Merritt, Bound Brook, NJ, was VERY HAPPY with his day as he boated a 9 pound 7 ounce and a 7 pound 5 ounce beauty to go along with his seabass! Yes, he won the pool. Nice job Bill!! Back at it again tomorrow. See you in the morning.
