Due to the forecast of the storm coming we only made the morning trip today. The northeast wind started early so we fished in Sandy Hook bay. We picked a few shorts each drift but only ended up with a couple of keepers (see gallery). With the tropical storm coming we will not be fishing Tomorrow or Monday (the holiday). The storm is supposed to stall for a few days offshore of New Jersey. All we can do is keep an eye on the weather and hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday we can fish but we'll have to wait and see. Have a safe holiday and we will be looking forward to seeing everyone when this is over.
