1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

(SUNDAY) Today we ran an open boat bottom fishing trip and started off with the Tog to see what is happening. We put the hooks in the water and put some crabs down and it took about ten minutes or so to the first keeper hit the deck. It was a nice pick for two hours with quality units coming up with Danny having the hot hand catching 9 keepers and Steve catching five and everyone else down from there. Even though we can only keep one a man it was still nice to get that Tog bite. As soon as the current changed it swung us off and instead of resetting we decided to go and catch some Scup. It was up and down fishing with a lot of jumbos coming up and a fast pace. There was also some Tog on that drop as well as Triggers.
