Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing September 27

It turned out to be a nice morning but the weatherman scared everyone. There was not enough people for any boat to make it out this morning. There was not many people around for the afternoon trip but we were out. The porgy fishing continues to be good. Everyone is catching fish for dinner and some for neighbors or the freezer. There are a couple of pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. If the forecast is correct the strong northeast winds will start tomorrow afternoon with rain and it is supposed to go into Friday. As of now if you want to make a trip tomorrow morning trip is the one to make. When this weather settles down we will be back fishing for porgies everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Watch the weather and we look forward to seeing you soon.
