Needless to say, there was no boat fishing today -- and there probably won't be tomorrow. The Cock Robin from Point Pleasant has cancelled through Sunday, but the Golden Eagle from Belmar still has hopes for Sunday bluefishing. The steady rain combined with the howling northeaster to probably also knock out shore fishing.  What we need is west winds to calm the ocean, but there's no such forecast even aafter the sun returns next week.
