Wasn't sure what to expect today. The Charter wanted to try for Stripers. I figured we would catch some Blues and would be lucky to get a Striper. I even bought some clams in case we had to resort to going for some Porgies. We started out catching some small Blues and a couple weakfish. Then we went looking and found some bird life and it was all Stripers. Lots of fish rolling around the boat at times but they weren't easy to catch. A few drifts we boated a half dozen or so but most drifts were 1 to 3 fish. Anyway like I always say You never know every day is different. Today I was pleasantly surprised. Tomorrow we start our open boat Striper trips. We will be fishing everyday weather permitting.7:30-2:30  See you soon, Capt. Rob.
