AM- This morning we had our the Mike Evans charter. Everything looked great with plenty of bait and fish swirling on schools of bait but for some reason, we could only manage 1 short for the morning. Tried every kind of jig and lure we had, but just couldn't connect.

PM - This afternoon we ran our open boat trip and what a difference. Started off in a different area boxing 2 nice keepers and losing a few nice fish. Took a ride and found the bird life and the crew went to work with the jigs having multiple fish on at a time. Ended the afternoon with a our 4 keepers and 4 bonus fish in the box, while releasing another keeper size fish and 30 shorts.
