12/1 Today we had Davids group out for striped bass ... After not being out for 2 days with this last blow we didn't know what to expect ... We left our inlet and saw some local bird n whale life ... We worked the shads for a while with no bites .. We made our way to where we had been fishing n saw much better life ... We decided to put the troll gear out and we got a 39" bass right away on the spoon .. We read the fish and thought we could get it going bug that wasn't the case .. We landed one more bass and a bunch of bluefish ... Tomorrow is another day ... It's not over yet
12/2 Today's striped bass charter got to throw shads at the bass n blues most of the day .... We caught our slot size n a keeper size ... Some blues were mixed in .. The fish would come in shots ... It was a nice day on the water
12/3 Great day on the striped bass grounds ... We caught tons of fish all day .... We had our limit of slots and 1 shy of our over 28"fish... Everybody caught tons of bass n blues ... It did get windy but was gorgeous along the beach ... Thanks again guys ...
12/4 Today we went out for blackfish .. Was not the best bite for us .. Bunch of shorts and it seemed the keepers only wanted to bite on one side of the boat .. Tomorrow is another day
12/5 Today we had our annual blackfish trip with the guys from the fishermen den .... We started off with a very good bite of nice keepers .. It slowed down n we made some moves around the area ... Limits were had and Charlie had the big fish today with a pair of over 7's .... Much better bite today for us than yesterday ... Thanks guys
12/6 Back to the striped bass grounds today after a few days of being on the tog grounds ... The day started off pretty good catching slot size bass and 28" plus striped bass on shads ... We did that most of the morning.. Then the North east breeze kicked up and we decided to finish our 28 plus fish limit on the troll ... The guys did a great job catching their limits of slots n 28"+ fish and releasing a bunch of other ... Thanks again guys great day ... Still some dates available in December for bass or tog ...
12/8 Today's group chose to go blackfish ... It was a good choice ... We had excellent life right from the start catching both keepers n shorts... It slowed up a bit and then was lights out in the afternoon ... Everyone caught their limit with 9 lbs being the biggest of the day ... Great day guys ... Thanks again ..
12/9 we canceled todays trip with the forecast of bad winds
