Friday, mackerel fishing was slow. We picked on some drifts and had stringers of 3-4, and some drifts we had none. Some patrons had a couple dozen at the end of the day. Overall, it was slow for our first day mackerel fishing.
On Saturday, The Brooklyn was out and caught large to medium mackerel within 10 miles of our inlet. No one sailed yesterday or today due to the weather. We will begin sailing daily starting tomorrow, Tuesday January 10th, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The weather is looking great for the rest of the week so it’s a great time to come fishing!
