Headed out this morning on our first trip of the season and got off to a great start. Didn't have lines in for more than 5 minutes and had the first fish on. Got dialed in and had non stop action for about 2 and a half hours with with a mix of shorts and keepers up to 14 lbs. Once the action died we decided to see if we could clam a few and managed to land another dozen shorts and around 3 keepers. Ended the day boating around 35 bass total with around a dozen being keepers (only keeping legal limit).
