What a trip today on the largest Yellowfin of the season so far. We had 11 keeper tuna and released another 10 or so and pretty much nonstop action for the better part of the day fighting Yellowfins. This trip was with two friends from down in Florida that wanted to come up and fight some tuna and their wishes were granted big time today.

We also had a trip on Sunday where we found a massive school of Bluefin mostly in the 57-60 inch range feeding on top at the Lobster Claw. It was truly an awesome experience boating our one legal BFT and doing catch and release. We started to jig and immediately boated an under 47 inch BFT but one of anglers put a hook thorough his finger and we opted return to port and take him to the emergency room for repairs. Just a great few trips the last few days on tuna both inshore and in the canyons on the Hooked Up II. No telling how many we could have released as I have never seen so many BFT busting on the surface as Sunday afternoon and they were not footballs by any means. Definitely a national geographic moment.

We just had a party reschedule from July 2 so we have that date open along with needing a couple more anglers for our July 3 open boat trip.

Some great tuna fishing with BFT over 100 lbs. lots of quality size Yellowfins
