1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

Though the weather was just fine today, there were hardly any reports. The Big Mohawk from Belmar reported the monthly pool winner was boated on the last day of the month, but no details were provided. Capt. Rob Semkewyc wishes he northeaster had held off another day because he had the best half-day trip of the season with the Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands as six fluke limits were caught and everyone had at least one keeper Friday morning.     Capt. Stan Zagleski said Sunday was a was a gorgeous day on the water for anglers on his Elaine B. II from Bahrs in Highlands. " With a leftover swell on the ocean we headed a totally different direction this morning and were happy with the decision.  The guys banged away at the keepers and shorts in a couple of areas and ended the day with catches ranging up to limits along with decent short action.  Spros and gulps had the edge with the keepers. Tony "THE FLUKEMAN" Satus, Old Bridge, NJ, took the pool with one of his fish.  Back at it tomorrow at 7:30 AM.  See you in the morning."
