1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

AUGUST 23, 2017

Hello all!  It's been a while since we updated our reports section on the web site, and we do apologize for that!  We've been
busy fishing, and fishing has been good.  While July was abnormally slow month for fluke, we had a two day nor'easter over the
last few days of July, and it turned the fishing on big time for August!

Boat limits were a daily occurrence during the first couple weeks of August, with lots of nice fish in the mix.  Last Wednesday,
Hurricane Gert went by offshore, throwing a big long period swell our way.  The fish continued to bite, but a little slower than
the "pre swell" fishing was.  Nonetheless, we have still been doing well on fluke with some limits hitting the box with a nice grade
of 20-24" fish primarily with a couple larger ones mixed in.  Also, some really nice sea bass have shown up over the last week,
and we've been getting our two fish per person limit of them just about every trip with some nice ones to 3 pounds going in the
box.  Great fish quality...especially for August.

Our availability is limited right now, but I would advise everyone to look up ADAM BOMB CHARTERS on Facebook, like our
page, and you'll receive instant updates on last minute openings and fishing reports!

Also, we will be posting our fall schedule for sea bass, tog, and stripers very soon.  So, continue to check back and look at our
sailing schedule!  THANK YOU!
