OCT 1 UPDATE

We had the pleasure of hosting the folks at the  Bethlehem Township Volunteer FD for their fishing outing again this year. We started the trip in search of stripers and blues with little success, so we switched modes and went for the porgies. Good fishing for all in a short time, plenty of bigger porgies and a lot of sea bass that had to be released (season closed until 10/22). Thanks Ron for organizing the trip for a great group of fun loving fishing folks for the 3rd year.

Sunday 8 am trip we had, along with other anglers,  a group of folks from the Cheesequake FD who have been fishing with us for several years, unfortunately the waters were a bit uncomfortable and fishing was slow. We have been fishing 1/2 day for porgies for about 2 months and this is only the 2nd slow trip we have had!
