1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

Numerous attempts to publish my blog have failed. Trying again with a condensed version. The Golden Eagle from Belmar started out catching smaller blues and bonito before making a 5-mile run offshore to find jumbo blues up to 20 pounds. The Ocean Explorer from Belmar had another hot day of porgy fishing. The Queen Mary from Pt. Pleasant had all-day action with cocktail blues plus bonito and some little tunny. Surf stripers are showing up in many areas, but not in any quantity. Jim louro of Spring Lake beached a 28 1/8-incher at his local beach on a lipless plug. Vinny D'Anton  fished to the south of there to release two 20-inch bass on a Chug Bug. I went to Belmar, and again had a single strike on a Tactical Anglers Bomb Jr. popper which came from a 23-inch striper.
