I spoke with Captain Alan at 9:30 a.m. this morning and he said that we already have over 20 keeper stripers on the boat! There is lots of bunker and sometimes we are reading the bait and are getting good shots when we stop on them. On one drift we had as many as 7 fish! Mostly all are keepers with a couple slots and a couple of throwbacks. After yesterday being such a tough day, the stripers are biting good this morning. In the afternoon, we caught a handful more fish. Some drifts we would have one or none. A few had their limits and most people had 1. When the wind came up it slowed down but overall it was a good day of striper fishing.
