After yesterday I was excited to get back out there today with light winds and calm seas. I figured for sure those fish would be there again today. Well like a always say, You never know. Today the seas were dead, no life at all except for pods of bait with no hungry stripers around. We looked everywhere but they weren't feeding today We caught one short striper a herring a sea robin and a couple dogfish. The weekend outlook is grim. Saturday north winds with gusts to 30 and Sunday west winds with gusts to 35. As of now it looks like Monday and Tuesday will be our next shot at getting out. As long as there is interest from you wanting to go I will keep fishing. I don't think its over we just had a bad day today. There is still plenty of bait and  I did here of a couple blues caught today off  Asbury park so the water is not to cold. Have a great weekend and hopefully I will see you on Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks for checking in, Capt, Rob
