The last four days of fishing went from tough to very good.
Friday was tough, fish didn't cooperate, we managed only one bass. Saturday, the weather started things off on a bad note, plenty of wind. We fished the inlet for a bit with no love. Moved outside in the lee of the inlet were the bait was Friday and found some fish were with the bait. Caught 8 bass up to 40", two of which were on jigs.
Sunday we went in a different direction in calmer seas and found the bait and fi...sh. Had many shots at them but only managed to boat 4 up to 40".
Today, we fished the inlet for a while and managed our limit of slot fish (11) and released a couple others. Headed back to the area from Sunday and it was very good, 12 nice fish on the bunkers. Had our limit of keepers, released a 42" fish, and called it a day.
