Tuna, finally nice weather !

by Capt Ted White 13 October 2014

We finally got a break with the weather and made an offshore trip. A longtime customer of the Super Chic was back for some tuna fishing. John Flanagan brought down some friends for an overnighter and the fish and weather cooperated. We got ...set up at 9pm and an hour later a nice steady bite began. They caught 15 longfins and a yellowfin by the time the sun came up, and 5 nice Mahi. The longfins averaged 40lbs with two of them pushing 50-55. The yellowbird was a nice 60lber.
We will be trying to get out again on Friday/Saturday.
