It was a nice day and we both morning and afternoon trips again today for stripe bass. The first stop on the morning trip was no good. We made a short move and it did not look like was going to be any better. We were getting ready to make a move when we got the first fish on. We stayed on that spot and had a slow pick. Only one fish was short all the rest were keepers. On the afternoon trip we went back to the same spot but it was no good. We tried another spot and that again was no good. We thought it was going to be a no catch afternoon. We tried one more spot and managed to catch a few keepers but no shorts. Take a look at the gallery and see some of the stripe bass from today. All of the fish were caught on bait (clams). Hopefully we catch a few more tomorrow. We are half day fishing for stripe bass everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm).
