6/10/18: Early in the week (Tuesday and Wednesday), the sea bass fishing was red hot. The sand eels moved in and the bite slowed down, tough competition when there is live bait right in front of their noses. The jig was working very well. Anything resembling a shiny sand eel the fish were attacking. Saturday there was no wind at all so we drifted. We caught three keeper fluke, Dave Frost of Barnegat, NJ won with a 4.2-lb fluke. This will be the last week of the 6-hour daily trip. On Monday, June 18, we will switch to the two 4-hour daily trips. Let's get into some fishing and have a great summer!
