Yes it was Hot, like Capt. Marty Haines of the Sea Pigeon used to say.....It's supposed to be Hot, it's summer!!

First drift of the day, June Benson hits a beauty at 5 pounds 13 ounces on the head then lands another 18 inch fish. Couple nice keepers but it was very tough with out the drift. We did power drift but the boat just went ahead & back over the same track line.

Several guys had two nice fish each and the short action was very good most of the day. Change of tide bite was good but nothing like yesterday, current never got going. Pool Fish made 4 1/2 pounds, a very nice Fluke.

Tomorrow (Monday) should be "Hot" also. Hoping for some guest appearances from the Ole Monday Regs!!

Capt. Ron
