FLUKE FISHING IS IMPROVING!
We are starting to see more Fluke move into the area. Â Short Fluke mixed in with a keeper here and there has been coming over the rail. Â Nothing great yet but it is a improvement over the past couple of weeks. Â The water is in the lower 60s so as it warms up, Fluke fishing should get better. Â Guys using the squid and spearing combo seem to be doing the best. Â Only a few were caught on gulps and bucktails.
Bluefishing still remains slow. Â Wednesday night, I seen some fish zipping on top of the water chasing bait but was never able to get on them. Â When we drifted around, we also seen a few fish swimming on top but even they were not in the mood to eat. Â VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Â We will keep giving it our best every night! Â Something has got to break open one of these nights!
