April 29th

The weather was pretty good the past couple of days.  Fishing has been picky the past couple of days.  Few Cod, few Ling and a few Blackfish made up most of our catch within those days.  No big numbers of them but we are getting some bites on most spots we have been fishing.  Today we stayed inshore for Blackfish.  We did have some life right off the bat this morning with a few keeper Blackfish, few shorts and a few small Cod.  The bites turned off around noon today and it was tough from there.  We will give it our best tomorrow for the last day of Blackfish!  The weather is looking good and the wind forecast has backed off!
