UPDATE 7/19/18

SPECIAL 1/2 DAY PORGY TRIPS  THURS 7/26   8AM-12:30PM  &  1:30PM-6PM

Tough fishing this weekend was not much to talk about. managed a couple keepers each trip and some moderate action on the shorts. We are trying different areas between the Bay and the Ocean hoping to locate a new body of fluke. Monday was more of the same though we had a couple nice keepers including Tommy's 5 lb fluke, with the dogfish and shorts keeping anglers busy. Improvement on afternoon trip, but still not great. Tommy stole the show again this afternoon with 2 more nice fluke. Left the dock on Wed with some strong winds out of the north so we checked out some new spots based on the prevailing conditions and picked away at some quality fish all morning. Fishing was never super, but by the end of the trip we had a decent catch. Headed out in the afternoon to the same area where we  left the fish in the morning, but there was very little drift. Stuck it out for a bit, throwing a couple of keepers in the boat. Checked out a new area late afternoon and was glad we did as the 1st drift was good with several anglers getting 2 keepers. So went back up on the drift and caught a couple more nice fluke by the end of the trip. John was a big hit with his limit and the pool fluke.
