SAT 7/28 UPDATE

CHARTERED SUNDAY 7/29 FOR 8 AM TRIP       OPEN 1:30 PM TRIP

1/2 DAY PORGIES & SEA BASS  MONDAYS & TUESDAYS

1/2 DAY FLUKE WEDNESDAY-SUNDAY

What a week, between the actual rain and the forecasts, anglers were in short supply.  Sailed on Tuesday with a few anglers, and looked for areas out of the wind. We caught a ton of fluke inside our Bay and had a few keepers mixed in. The 1st drift was the best and picked away the rest of the trip. Plenty of action on all the shorts, one angler had more than 30 and at least it was action packed. Anglers were sparse in the Harbor in the afternoon and we did not have enough to go. Wednesday was a washout for us on both trips. Thursday was a special Porgy and Sea Bass trip and other than the light "crowd" it was a success. Contrary to the weather forecast, it was a beautiful day without a drop of rain. It took some time and searching on the morning trip, in less than ideal conditions, but we found the fish. Everyone went home with a good amount of porgies and some sea bass and trigger fish as well for some.  The afternoon was better with constant action and all anglers had a nice bucket of porgies. some sea bass mixed in and some trigger fish. It was a SUCCESS. We will be porgy and sea bass fishing 1/2 day on Mondays & Tuesdays, so come on down and have some fun. Friday was slow on both trips in the keeper area, but the shorts and sea robins provided plenty of action. Today, Sat, was mainly shorts on both trips. Hope to have the Porgy pictures up in a day or so, so check back to see our catch.
