Beautiful day on the water today as it started out with just a pick on some quality Fluke & short Sea Bass. Bounced around with a good drift but it once again didn't get better till the end of the day.

Vic Babin had the big one most of the day at 6.4 pounds but the pool fish came on the last drift in overtime for the second day in a row at 6.9 pounds.  What I believe would have been the Fish of the Season for us so far was lost on top by Phil as the guys were coming with the net. A line was wrapped around the fish, it shook it's head and we watched as it swam away! I figured it had to weigh 10 to 11 1/2 pounds.

Several guys had two beauties by days end including Alex, Joe, Jigger John, Rob, Vic, Richie and a couple others. Some Big Sea Bass in the mix also. Not easy fishing and it takes all day to put some in the coolers. Back at it tomorrow!

CHARTERED THIS COMING SATURDAY Aug. 4th.
