Weekend Wrap-Up Sept 4th-7th Fluke and Blues!

When the conditions are right, Fluke fishing has been pretty good.  Both trips were good today with keepers and throwbacks coming over the rail.  It was a shame to throw back all those nice Sea Bass we caught today due to the season being closed.  Anglers using pink/white and nuclear chicken gulps seemed to pick out the bigger ones today!  Plenty of action on the shorts with a few keepers on squid and spearing.  Still a good amount of Fluke around so hopefully they will keep on biting right to the end!

We picked away at the Blue on Friday and Saturday night.  It was not fast and furious fishing but we were able to put a catch together.  Tonight was VERY GOOD!  Lots of Blues in the 10-15lb range were flying over the rail.  All were caught on bunkers and butterfish!

I will post photos of today on our Facebook page!

We are going to keep an eye on the weather here the next two or three days.  We are suppose to get some strong NE wind and some rought seas.  If you are planning on coming down, PLEASE call us before you do so we can give you an update.  Most likely, Monday and Tuesday are a wash.  We will see what Wednesday brings!

SAILING 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR FLUKE AND 7 NIGHTS A WEEK FOR BLUES!

See you soon,

Capt. Matt
