Still have plenty of openings for the summer both weekend and weekday schedule will be posted under reports and as always you can give us a call! 732 841 5041 or 732 322 9786     July 2nd & 3rd Ling/Flounder: Sunday & Monday ling/flounder Sunday we had a great group - the fishing, not so much. Hit 8 different areas and just could never establish a decent bite. Had a leftover swell, a screaming current where 12oz wasn't even doing anything, and a huge drop in water temp. Even stopped on the way in to see if the seabass would chew, but they didn't. A few shorts and a few keepers and hit 2 spots for them. The sinkers and fish were both ice cold, crappy day. Monday we had out Ed and his family and friends. Went back out and the conditions all around were much nicer. Had fish right off the bat today but a few hours into it anchoring conditions went to crap so we had to keep adjusting. Had a real nice lobster today along with a short cod, a couple 4-spot, our limit of jumbo flounder and 70 ling. A lot better than yesterday but still not up to par.   July 8th & 9th Shark & fluke: Saturday shark and Sunday fluke report: Sorry for the late report. Saturday we had joe and his friends from Scranton for shark fishing. Had really nice weather all day. Wish the drift was a little faster but we managed thanks to some current. Made our first drift and a little while into it we had a shark jump twice (or 2 different ones) right behind our lines but never took anything. Kept going and had some chub mackerel around the boat so everyone had a turn to try and catch a few. Had a dusky soon after swim up to the chum bag and around the boat for a while, disappeared and then took one of our baits. Decided it was time for a different area. Had something that kept playing with the baits a good chunk of the drift but wouldn't take the whole thing. Even tried smaller baits and all but nothing. Finally hooked into a blue shark so the guys were able to see a few sharks but not what we were looking for. Sunday we had one of our regulars Walter take his family out for some fluke. Started offshore but the drift was way too fast so we worked the rest of the day inshore. Morning was pretty dismal a few shorts and seabass here and there. Later in the day we finally found a patch and were catching a keeper every drift with a bunch of shorts. The 5 of them wound up with 8 keepers to 5.5lbs and a few seabass as well. Most of the fish all on bait as well Open spots Saturday 7/15 for ling/flounder and Sunday 7/16 for fluke!
