Fishing Report

Another solid day out there,,with quite a twist….Flat calm and beautiful..water warmed up to …43.5 degrees….The blackfish bite was sluggish to start…picked a few shorts..few keepers…Thought it was gonna get going,,,saw a few more keepers and caught a Jumbo Blackfish about 10-12 lbs..which we let go to swim another day…It died out in 80 feet so I went inshore to try and found acres of Birds diving on bunkers and underneath all of the birds the stripers showed up and it was as fast as you could reel stripers…Really good fishing with fish up to 30lbs…Everyone caught a bunch and we went back to blackfishing inshore and was glad to see the fish chewing in shallow…Nothing big but we caught some shorts in there and was glad to see bites……….So here is the game plan…Friday is canceled…small craft warning are up with east winds…so stay home and I will get some boat work done…Saturday and Sunday look very nice…..we are gonna fish for blackfish and stripers….If the stripers are up and the bite is on we can catch them…If its not going on we can bottom fish for blackfish..Today the Croc spoons and diamond jigs worked for the stripers. We have the clams and crabs for the bottom…We have anything you need onboard or you can purchase at the tackle shop…See ya Saturday morning.Check out some.Pics…
