1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

4/8/19: It was nice to get out in the ocean finally, even though Saturday was a bit rough and foggy, the bite wasn't too bad. A few guys had two or one fish and a beautiful ling made someone a nice dinner. A few dogfish around but not terrible. The guys that brought their own shrimp (cooked) did better but the others caught mostly on fresh clam and a few on crab. Pool winner was Jake Adair of Lower Bank, NJ with a nice 5.5-lb blackfish. Sunday’s trip, much to our surprise, was much slower. Even with the beautiful calm day, the bite just was not there. Eric Manderblatt won the pool with a 3.2-lber. Win some, lose some. With the warmer weather approaching we should see fishing pick up.

Hopefully the weather on weekends will be nice so we can continue our trips. Also, on Easter weekend we will be sailing Good Friday but not on Easter Sunday. Hope to see you on board!
