June 4th

Fluke fishing remain on the slow side for us.  We see a few keepers and shorts along with a few Sea Bass here and there but nothing great to speak of.  I did notice today that the water temp was 65 degrees on the surface!!!!  Hopefully, within the next few days the Fluke will get into the feeding mode.  I don't think that there is a lack of fish around just the water on the bottom is still cold and they do not want to feed.

DECENT NIGHT OF BLUEFISHING TONIGHT!

After the past two nights (Monday and Tuesday), we were back into the Blues!  It took a little time to get them going but we hung in there and plugged away at the 6-10lbers.  With the amount of fish swimming on top of the water and coming under the boat, I thought it would of been a slaughter but just wound up being a decent pick.  This seems like a new batch of fish that just moved in so they might stay around for a while!
