1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

8/5/19: August is here and we finally started to see some major improvement on the fishing. Early last week you could see 40-feet visibility and there were Spanish mackerel, Bonita, ribbon fish, and a Cobia came by the boat. It was nice to see. Later in the week it blew out of the southwest and the water got cloudy and green again. Yesterday and today the fish started biting very well with a lot of shorts and keepers in the mix. We have a new tournament leader, weighing in at 8.73 lbs, caught by Dennis Haney of Lumberton, NJ. Way to go Dennis!!

Come on board and try to get in on the good fishing ASAP. Please check our daily report on Facebook and the pics. Also please make a note that on Thursday 8/8, the afternoon trip only is privately chartered. Thanks and have a enjoyable summer!! Gina
