Atlantic Highlands porgy fishing September 20

Made both morning and afternoon trips for porgies today and the fishing was much better. There was still a swell in the ocean. On the morning trip even the swell we were able to drift slowly with the wind against the tide. We had a steady pick of nice size porgies with everyone catching dinner. On the afternoon trip the drift was faster but we still able to catch dinner for everyone again. They are nice size with very few small ones. Take a look at the gallery and see some new pictures from today. If the drift is fast you might need a heavy sinker (8oz) so bring the right rod. We are half day fishing for porgies everyday making two tips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
