10/21/19: A lot of prime sea bass fishing was lost due to the slow-moving low off of the coast during the opening of sea bass. Once we were able to get out again that Sunday, 10/13, it was solid action with lots of limits. A few days later, it was harder to get a decent catch. Then we lost a few more days due to another blow. When we started sailing again, we noticed smaller fish, plus the dogs moved in, and even harder to get a good catch. Very disappointing fall sea bass fishing overall.
It's that time of year for us to sail just Saturday and Sundays now. We still have time to catch a few plus there should be some nice porgies and triggerfish around. Hope to see you.
