6/20 Weekend Recap- 11.11lb DOORMAT

Over the weekend we had charters in the mornings and open boat in the evenings. We caught keepers and had some short action on every trips but overall fishing was tough. The good news is that most of the keepers we are catching are very nice and most poolfish are in the 4 to 6lb range. The highlight of the weekend came on Sat mornings trip when Joe Bojdo from Perth Amboy caught a doormat fluke weighing in at 11.11lbs. That is our biggest of the season so far. Great Job Joe. Both bait and bucktails worked and the hot colors were gulp nuc chicken, green and pink. Next trip is Tuesday morning at 7:30am. Thanks Capt.Mike
