Stripers & Blues Charters

After the past three days of northeast weather and the ocean being turned up, we went out of our inlet and saw birds working to the east. We got on a patch of fish right away and caught a handful of stripers, a couple were keepers and a couple were slots. We then worked our way up to the north on bird life and fish readings. We would stop and read the fish and would catch 1-2, sometimes none. As the day went on, the fish started to bite and we started catching a few more. Some had 3-4 fish a piece keeping only their limits. Overall, it was a decent day compared to what we thought it would be. Hopefully tomorrow will be much better fishing. Our pool winner was Rick Beyer from Warminster, PA with a 26 lb striper and his wife, Sharon, caught a 21 lb striper.
