We had EXCELLENT striper fishing today! When I spoke with the Captain at 10:00 a.m. this morning, he said that we already had a couple of nice drifts with keepers, slots and throwbacks. We also already had over 20 fish on the boat between keepers and slots. Two of the fish are over 25 lbs and some customers already had their limits! Then, when I spoke with him again at 11:30 a.m., he said that we had over 40 stripers on the boat and were almost limited out on slot fish, and more than a dozen stripers were over 28â€. It was a striper frenzy today!
By the end of the day, we had over 50 stripers and limited out on slot fish. We had over 18 keepers and probably threw back 50-60 shorts. Sometimes we had as many as 4-5 fish on at a time, sometimes none, but it didn’t take long before you had one on. Our pool winner were the Molino brothers from Little Egg Harbor, NJ with a 27 lb striper.
We will be sailing on Thanksgiving Day from 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Come out early fishing with us and catch some fresh fish and be home in time for your Thanksgiving dinner with your family and friends.
