Hey gang, we had some good guys on the boat and I really wanted to catch the fish today. Unfortunately, we had a heave on the ocean from a southerly blow from the night before that affected the fishing. We had fish coming first thing in the morning but after about an hour of fishing we kept getting pushed up on both our anchors. We had to leave the deep and move in the 70' feet area and started picking fish. Plenty of 13 inch and 14 inch blackfish with some keepers. But conditions were not good there either. All and all a very tough day fishing. We had 16 keeper blackfish on the boat today with short action and some ling but Jimmy Lewicki, one of Capt George's guys, caught a nice 10lber, our biggest of the season so far and won today's pool. Captain Jack will have better conditions for tomorrow's trip. Thanks.
