Posted on January 02 2021 January 2nd! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!Decent Blackfishing on New Year s Day with some decent size keepers along with short life to keep you busy. Pool winner went around 7lbs but quite a few of the keepers ranged from 3-5lbs. High hook had their limit and down from there. Rigs worked over jigs too. Today was a different ball game. We did have some life however the conditions were terrible. Lots of current running down the beach and the wind made it hard to feel the bites up the side. We did catch a few but it could of been better. Pool winner went around 5lbs. The water is still in the upper 40s so we are looking foward to a good month of Blackfishing! No sail tomorrow due to weather. We will be back at it on Monday! We have plenty of spots opened all week long.
