Posted on August 09 2020 Weekend Wrap August 6th-9th! Fluke fishing is slow however it seems to be improving everyday since the storm. A good amount of Sea Bass are coming over the rail as well up to 4lbs! Bait and gulp are both working! Erica Duddy landed a nice fish over 7lbs and took the lead in our August September Monthly pool! August is a good month for Fluke around here. We will keep doing our best! Back at it tomorrow! Bring extra tackle with you! We are fishing around rough bottom so bring it! We are full Wednesday but we have room on all the other days! Also we will keep you posted in the next week or 2 on our September schedule!Bluefish was tough for us on both Friday and Saturday night. Ususally when a storm comes through this time of year the Blues push in and they bite their heads off but that is not the case this weekend. Friday night we started offshore and seen the Macks but no Blues so we went in search mode and it did not work out to well for us. I would of stuck with the Mackeral however Blues come first and we gave it our best. Last night we read plenty of Blues but they only bit in certain parts of the boat and some anglers got lucky and some struck out. However we were over some rough bottom last night and we were able to catch some anglers Sea Bass to take home. Back at it Friday and Saturday night!
